El Ballet Folklórico Estudiantil
Our mission is achieved through the following goals:
EDUCATION
To provide quality instruction in Mexican folkloric dance and music to our community with emphasis on educating Hispanic youth.
To provide internship opportunities for advance students to prepare for careers in arts education and organization.
PERFORMANCES
To produce folkloric dance and music concerts to audiences throughout Michigan performed by our members or by touring groups when available.
PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS
To offer intensive folkloric dance and music workshops taught by professionals.
To provide ongoing professional development for our instructors or interns through participation in conferences and master classes in the U.S. or Mexico.
