Organizational Development Coordinator

Alysia Treviño holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a TESOL Certification from the University of Michigan-Flint, where she was also honored as a Maize and Blue Distinguished Scholar. Starting out as a youth dance student, she has now served El Ballet Folklórico Estudiantil in various roles over the past 10 years. In her current role, she assists administratively with music, dance, and Spanish literacy classes, oversees communications, and helps plan key events like the Michigan Folklórico Festival and the Bilingual Children’s Book Parade. 

She has studied abroad and completed professional development in Mexico and currently serves on the advisory board for the Inclusive History Project at UM-Flint. She is passionate about the Flint community and its access to the arts.
